How do I get started?
The EWC is a bridge between employers and job seekers. While we are not an employment agency, we provide the resources, preparation, and support you need to pursue your goals. Please feel free to give us a call with any questions, or come by our office.
Can you help me create or improve my resume?

Do I need an appointment to receive assistance?
No. You’re welcome to walk in at any time. If you prefer virtual services, or want to plan ahead, you can schedule an appointment.
Do I have to go to the Coalition to receive services?
You choose what works best for you. Services are available in person or online by appointment.
I want to attend the Workers’ Rights Workshop. When can I join?

What can I do if my employer doesn’t pay me?
Visit our EWC department or schedule an appointment. We will guide you step by step through the process with the North Carolina Department of Labor.

We offer a wide range of continuing education and workforce development programs, including:
OSHA, Babysitter Certification, GED, Project Management, Digital Marketing, Computer Skills, Early Childhood Education, Medical Interpreter, Medical Assistant, and more.
