Our Programs

A culturally sensitive mentoring program designed to align with students’ identities and aspirations. The program fosters strong mentoring relationships and promotes academic and personal growth.

GANAS offers two active programs each semester: one at Garinger High School and another at our office on Thursdays at 6 p.m., with family participation.

Mentoring Program

Junior and senior high school students can receive personalized support to explore college options. Services include assistance with the FAFSA, scholarships, applications, and internship opportunities.

Participants gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector through an internship program, making significant contributions to the local Hispanic/Latino community. The program is offered every semester for university students. During the summer, high school students can participate through MYEP.

Summer Experiences

The summer program offers opportunities to explore careers, arts, and local experiences. Participants develop leadership skills, try new activities, and forge friendships through interactive experiences, trips, and excursions.

Girl Scout Troop 03 is open to aspiring leaders from kindergarten through sixth grade. Affiliated with the Girl Scouts’ Wasp’s Nest Council, Troop 3 focuses on developing confidence and leadership skills.

Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
